My name is Tyler Pettis, a creative cinematographer based in the DMV area and the innovator behind TYFILMEDIT.

What started as a hobby during my freshman year of college quickly grew into a passion for storytelling. With a strong interest in both music and visual creation, I built TYFILMEDIT to merge the two and create work that feels intentional, cinematic, and impactful.

As I developed my craft, I noticed a gap in the level of creativity and visual storytelling within the DMV compared to other major cities. That realization became the foundation of my work. TYFILMEDIT was built to help artists and brands elevate their visuals, strengthen their identity, and access the same level of high-quality content seen in larger markets.

Today, my focus is on creating cinematic visuals that not only bring ideas to life, but also help artists grow, stand out, and move forward in their careers.
